On Free
Section titled “On Free”One card builds at a time, across all your workspaces. While it builds you can still write and plan other cards, use terminals and AI tiles outside cards, and resume, review or check the card that is building. Only starting a second build waits. The slot frees up when the card ships, is archived, or is put back in To do (card ⋯ › Put back in To do: its session stops and its branch is kept for later).
Your Plyloft account
Section titled “Your Plyloft account”Your Plyloft account is your GitHub sign-in, on every plan, Free included. It is identity only: the sign-in asks GitHub for no permissions, and Plyloft sees your GitHub login, not your code or repositories. Your projects can stay on your computer; you don’t need a repository on GitHub.
No GitHub account? Create one, free, then come back to the setup.
This sign-in is separate from the GitHub CLI that Plyloft uses for pull requests: signing in to Plyloft doesn’t sign the GitHub CLI in, and Plyloft never sends the CLI’s token to its server.
Your plan in the app
Section titled “Your plan in the app”There is no licence key to paste. Buy a plan on Pricing, signed in with GitHub, then sign in to Plyloft with the same GitHub account. Plyloft picks up your plan when you switch back to it, or right away from Settings › Plan. Plyloft’s server checks your plan; it never receives code, prompts or file names.
- One device at a time. Signing in on another computer moves your plan there. The one before goes back to Free at its next check (within a few hours) and says why.
- Offline. Plyloft keeps your plan until the end of the period you paid for, plus 3 days. After that it needs to check in once.
Team seats
Section titled “Team seats”The owner buys the seats, from 2 to 50, and holds one of them. Each of the others goes to a teammate’s GitHub account: a teammate has Team as long as they hold a seat, signed in to Plyloft with that same GitHub account. Teammates don’t buy anything. See Teams.
Seats you add are charged pro rata straight away. Fewer seats take effect at renewal, and never below the number of seats people hold.
Billing
Section titled “Billing”Billing, invoices, seats and cancellation are in Stripe’s portal: Manage subscription on your account page. Prices include VAT; businesses in the EU can add a VAT number at checkout.
- Cancelling keeps your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds. After the first 14 days, payments already made are not refunded, except where the law requires a refund. If you withdraw within 14 days, you pay only for the days you used. At checkout you confirm: “I ask for my subscription to start now. If I withdraw within 14 days, I pay only for the days I used.”
- A failed renewal doesn’t stop your plan while Stripe retries the card; your account page says there is a payment problem. If the retries run out, the subscription ends.
Founding price. Subscribe before 30 November 2026 and €9 a month (€7.20 yearly) stays your price for as long as that subscription runs.
When a subscription ends
Section titled “When a subscription ends”Your work stays. Plyloft goes back to Free: one card building at a time. A team board becomes read-only until you renew, or you switch it back to local.
