Your first card
-
Create the card. On the Board, press New card: a title field opens at the top of Needs you. Type the title and press Enter; the card reads Draft. Open it and write in What you want what should change, in plain words. It saves itself.
Sessions should last the number of days set in Settings, not a fixed 7 days.
Not sure how to say it? Plan it with Claude turns a rough idea into a brief.
-
Start the build. The card reads Ready to start. Press Start build. Plyloft makes the card its own copy of the repository, on a branch like
plyloft/card-abcdef01-session-cookie-expiry, and opens the Builder there. Your main branch is untouched. -
Let it build. The card’s Now box says Claude · building, and the sidebar lists the session under Terminals: Card · Session cookie expiry, Claude · building · 2m. The session is open on the card: watch it or talk to it. When its turn is over the card says Claude · waiting for you; if it asks you something, Claude is waiting for your answer.
-
Press Build done. When the Builder says it has finished, press Build done. Plyloft takes a snapshot, runs your checks and hands the snapshot to the Challenger. (Skip review skips the review for that one snapshot; the checks still run.)
-
Read the review. The card says Codex · reviewing: the Challenger reviews read-only. If it requests changes (Challenger requests changes), its findings go to the Builder by themselves, and a serious issue reaches your Inbox. When the Builder has fixed them, press Build done again for round 2. See Reviews and findings.
-
Ship it. When the review finds nothing blocking and the checks pass, the card is Ready to ship. Press Ship it; its ▾ has the other ways. See Shipping.
The card page
Section titled “The card page”On a wide window the card page has two columns. On the left: the title, the properties, Now, What you want and Activity. On the right: the one section that is open, such as the Builder’s session, or the diff beside the result. On a narrow window it is one column, with the open section under Now. Nothing reloads when you resize.
Before Start build, Challenge the plan under What you want has Claude and Codex each read the brief and review each other; you settle where they disagree, and the Builder starts with your decisions.
Checks
Section titled “Checks”Checks are your project’s own build and tests. Set them up in setup’s Project settings step, or in Settings › This repository › Build and release. A project without checks says None set up, never “passed”. Run them by hand with Run the checks.
When the result isn’t right
Section titled “When the result isn’t right”Use Not right — tell them what’s wrong and say what’s wrong. Your words go to the Builder, and can later improve a skill.
